BORED DURING LONG TRIPS? TRY WATCHING PORN WHILE IN THE CAR!
Florida men arrested for exposing minors to "auto" eroticism

According to the (see link for full report) arrest report, Officer J.A. Webster was on patrol Monday night when a Buick passed him on the right. Webster noticed that a porn flick was playing on a 14-inch flat screen TV inside the car, and that the X-rated images could be seen by five children in two other autos.
"As the vehicle went by I observed the children look at the vehicle and then point at the vehicle with the pornographic material," stated Webster. After being pulled over, driver Benjamin Glover (pictured above right) said he was unaware that it was illegal to screen porn in your '93 Regal.
Things got worse for Glover's passenger, 25-year-old Desmond Ross (pictured above left), when cops discovered crack cocaine in his wallet (as well as in and around the car). In a police interview, Ross acknowledged that all the rocks were his, an admission that cost him another felony rap.
NEVER MESS WITH A WOMAN--SHE WILL ALWAYS WIN
A "HIT" MADE ON JORAN?

Dutch-born Joran, 18, flew there after being released from prison to attend Arnhem Business School. "There are angry people both in the U.S. and in Aruba who want him and his friends Deepak and Satish Kalpoe dead," a source told The National Enquirer. "Many in America believe the trio have escaped justice in Natalee's murder. Some Arubans are angry that Joran and the Kalpoes have brought so much negative attention to their island.
Officials have been told bluntly: 'They were better off in jail.' "
"There have been warnings about mercenaries who are prepared to kill them, and violent people just waiting for the right moment," said the source. "I wouldn't even be surprised if Joran's mother or brother were kidnapped — his enemies might figure it's the only way to get Joran to talk."
Arnhem police spokesman Gohan Rongen acknowledged that they were aware of Joran's presence there. Asked about death threats, he said: "I can't give you any information."
JOE MAMMANA: PHILANTHROPIST FOR MISSING WOMEN
by Scared Monkeys
Joe Mammana also adds some refreshing less than PC commentary about his true feelings and “no beating around the bush” approach to his involvement in this case.
No one ever need to ask Joe Mammana a second time how he really feels. For a taste of Joe’s no nonsense approach take a look:
COSBY: And we have exclusive new information in the Natalee Holloway case tonight. We‘re learning about new members of the team that will not give up in their search for Natalee on the island of Aruba. Beth Holloway Twitty joins me now live from Philadelphia. She‘s also joined with philanthropist Joe Mammana, who has donated a lot of money in support of finding Natalee. Beth, first to you. Why are you in Philadelphia? I understand you now have a new addition, an attorney, in the case. Tell us about it.
COSBY: And Joe, what are some of the options that both of you are looking at?
THE REAL MRS. JOHN LENNON SPEAKS
Pang just flew over to London to help Cynthia launch her book in Britain. No doubt Pang told her all about Ono's failed Broadway musical, "Lennon," which closed last week after losing all the money that had been invested in it.
Cynthia also arrives in New York at a propitious moment. Next Saturday would have been Lennon's 65th birthday. And on Tuesday and Wednesday, Paul McCartney is playing Madison Square Garden.
There have already been titillating excerpts in the British press, in which Cynthia says, among other things, that Lennon hit her once. More interesting, though, is hearing from Cynthia for the first time about how she was pushed aside by Ono.
In the book, Cynthia sets the scene: She returned home early one day to find John and Yoko in bathrobes, facing each other, sitting on the floor. When she ran upstairs to collect a few things quickly, Cynthia saw a pair of Japanese slippers neatly parked in front of the guest-room door. Later, when she was negotiating the divorce settlement in 1968, Lennon — who had become wildly rich — encouraged her to take the 100,000 British pounds he offered. "That's all you're worth," he allegedly told her.
Father and son were briefly reunited during Pang's time with Lennon, known as the "lost weekend." But when Lennon returned to Ono in late 1974, Cynthia and Julian were once again cut out of the star's life. "Julian would call and Yoko or one of her people would say John was sleeping," Cynthia wrote.
After Lennon was murdered in 1980, it would take 16 years, Cynthia wrote, for Julian to get any money from his father's estate, thanks to Ono's lack of cooperation. By that time, Julian had had a couple of hit records of his own and had made his own money.
A couple of other tidbits from Cynthia's breezy, long overdue read: After Ringo Starr divorced his wife, Maureen, she had a brief affair with George Harrison.
Cynthia also completely refutes the long-held rumor that Lennon had a brief fling with the group's gay manager, Brian Epstein: "[Like] most lads at the time, [John] was horrified by the idea of homosexuality." With "John," Steven Gaines' "All You Need Is Love," McCartney's bio written by Barry Miles, Hunter Davies' original Beatles book and the comprehensive studio notes by Mark Lewisohn, not to mention the Beatles own "Anthology" and producer George Martin's memoir, I would say that's the end for Beatles books — unless Ringo finally writes his own volume.
BOYS WILL BE BOYS? WHATEVER!!!
Cops: Florida youths ripped clothes off girls, took cell phone pix
The boys, aged 12 to 14, were arrested and hit with felony battery and molestation charges for assaulting and groping the girls.
According to the below Lake County Sheriff's Office affidavit, video recovered from an assailant's cell phone showed one girl, a 13-year-old Tavares Middle School student, yelling for help as the boys fondled her breasts (the boys showed off their camera phone images to school pals, cops said).

Police identified the underage arrestees (who are pictured clockwise from above left) as Ronterius Hubbard, 14; Keson Evans, 14; and brothers Dexter, 13, and Devonte Maxwell, 12.
Hostage in Atlanta courthouse shooting says she gave Nichols meth
I think she is courageous to come forward with this information. This terrible incident will stay with her for the rest of her life and it will change her for the better. Sounds like it already has.
Ashley Smith did not share that detail with authorities after she talked her way out of captivity. In her book, "Unlikely Angel," released Tuesday, Smith says Nichols had her bound on her bed with masking tape and an extension cord. She says he asked for marijuana, but she did not have any, and dug into her crystal methamphetamine stash instead.

Smith, who has been in a mental hospital and has flunked out of drug rehabilitation programs, says the seven-hour hostage ordeal led her to stop using drugs. She says she has not touched drugs since the night before she was taken hostage.
"If I did die, I wasn't going to heaven and say, `Oh, excuse me, God. Let me wipe my nose, because I just did some drugs before I got here,"' Smith told the Augusta Chronicle.

Police said Nichols took Smith hostage in her apartment March 11 after a shooting rampage at the Fulton County Courthouse. Nichols is accused of killing four people, including a judge.
Smith's 911 call to police when she was released led authorities to Nichols. She said she read him passages from author Rick Warren's "The Purpose-Driven Life" to gain his trust.
She was later bombarded with offers for books, movies and speaking engagements. Financial details of the book have not been released, but she pledged to donate an undisclosed portion of the book's proceeds to a memorial fund for the victims.
STUPID ACTIONS? YES. STUPID PUNISHMENT? ABSOLUTELY!
And out of all this, Ms. England is the 'fall guy' and gets all the negative attention. Do you know the names of any of the other men involved? No...I bet you don't. She should be staying at home with her new son, Carter, instead of going to prison for 3 years.

England’s sentencing wrapped up the last of nine courts-martial of low-level soldiers charged in the scandal, which severely damaged America’s image in the Muslim world and tarnished the U.S. military at home and abroad.
The jury of five Army officers needed about 90 minutes to determine their sentence for England, the 22-year-old from West Virginia who was the most recognizable of the reservists charged after photos of naked detainee in degrading poses became public.
The charges carried up to nine years, but the prosecution had asked the jury to imprison England for four to six years. The defense asked for no time. None of the lawyers would speak with reporters after the sentence was announced. England, who was convicted Monday on six of seven counts involving prisoner
mistreatment, sat with her eyes forward as the verdict was read, occasionally looking down. She spent some time with her 11-month-old son, Carter, before shuffling out of the courthouse with her arms and legs in shackles. Her reddened eyes stared straight ahead as she made her way to a waiting van.
Apology for the photos
England apologized earlier Tuesday for appearing in the photos, saying she did so at the behest of Pvt. Charles Graner Jr., who she said took advantage of her love and trust while they were deployed in Iraq.
“I was used by Private Graner,” England said. “I didn’t realize it at the time.” She was in several of the best-known photos taken by U.S. guards at Abu Ghraib in late 2003. In one image she held a naked prisoner on a leash, while in others she posed with a pyramid of naked detainees and pointed at one man’s genitals while a cigarette hung from the corner of her mouth.
England, speaking in response to questions from a defense lawyer, said she was embarrassed by the photos and apologized to the detainees and their families, as well as to American soldiers who may have suffered in Iraq for her actions. “I heard attacks were made on coalition forces because of the photos,” she said. “I apologize to coalition forces and their families that lost their life or were injured because of the photos.”
England’s defense contended she is a compliant person who took part in the maltreatment to please Graner, who prosecutors said was the ringleader of the abuse by a group of U.S. troops.
England recounted how her relationship with Graner, 14 years her senior, developed as they prepared for deployment to Iraq with the 372nd Military Police Company in 2003. “He was very charming, funny and at the time it looked to me like he was interested in the same things I was. ... He made me feel good about myself,” she said. “I trusted him and I loved him. ... Now I know it was just an act to lure me in.”
Graner and another former guard were also convicted at trial, while six other soldiers struck plea bargains. Graner was sentenced to 10 years. No officers have gone to trial, though several received administrative punishment. Graner on Tuesday supported testimony from a defense witness that officers failed to control the guards at the Baghdad prison, creating stressful conditions that disoriented England and led her to take part in the mistreatment.
Graner said he told officers about detainee maltreatment, which he claimed was done by order of military intelligence personnel. And at times, he said, military intelligence officers actually were present for the abuse. “I nearly beat an MI detainee to death with MI there,” he said before Col. James Pohl, the judge, interrupted his testimony.
Stjepan Mestrovic, a sociology professor at Texas A&M University called as an expert witness by the defense, testified that England should be punished lightly because of the “poisonous environment” that existed at Abu Ghraib. “She was caught up in this chaotic situation like everyone else,” said Mestrovic.

SEE! YOU CAN KILL SOMEONE WITH A FORK!
FORKED TO DEATH

A Green Bay, Wis., man is charged with killing his neighbor with a fork, according to police. Investigators said Gordon Senecal was taking care of Todd Charles' 15-year-old pit bull over the weekend when an argument broke out between the two men.
He men began fighting at Charles' home and Senecal was stabbed with a large serving fork, police said. Senecal was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Charles is expected in court Monday for his first appearance.

THE LEGACY OF AUGUST 1969--CHARLES MANSON'S FAMILY
FORMER CHARLES MANSON CULT MEMBER DENIED PAROLE

Bruce Davis, shown here in 1982,
has been denied parole more than 20 times.
He is serving a life sentence.
Although the Louisiana native did not commit the infamous slaying of pregnant actress Sharon Tate or any of the other eight murders, a jury in 1972 decided his presence during the deaths of musician Gary Hinman and stagehand Donald "Shorty" Shea warranted life in prison.

to death in 1969
Davis was convicted in the slayingof stagehand Donald "Shorty" Shea
Despite being a key player in the Manson family crimes, Davis is less publicly known than other Manson family murderers, including Patricia Krenwinkel, Charles Watson, Susan Atkins and Leslie Van Houten — none of whom have received opportunities for parole.
Davis met Manson in the spring of 1968 and moved onto his commune at the Spahn Movie Ranch in Chatsworth, Calif. Davis, along with about 30 others, lived in tents and buildings used on old movie sets. In exchange for housing, the group took care of the ranch for owner George Spahn and became a close-knit cult led by Manson.
"I sort of adopted Manson as my father," Davis reportedly said. After they killed nine people, Manson persuaded his followers to ignite a race war by attempting to pin the killings on African-Americans. He imagined that after the war began, he would make himself leader of the black community and take refuge in the desert.
Manson warned his followers of an approaching race war, which he named "Helter Skelter" after a Beatles song. The killers misspelled the phrase as "Healther Skelter" in blood on the refrigerator at the Tate crime scene, according to Crimelibrary.com.
Although Davis did not participate in the murders, his indifference and attendance was enough to convict him."I was never a vicious person, but I was indifferent," Davis reportedly said in 2004. "I wanted the immediate approval of the people I was with and I didn't care what they did."After his first 10 years in prison, Davis met his wife Beth through the prison ministry. The couple married and conceived their only child behind bars.
According to the San Luis Obispo Tribune, Davis spends his days reading theology books, playing songs on guitar and working in the prison's Protestant chapel. And every year he hopes for the chance for parole.
"I am very sorry," Davis reportedly told a parole judge in April 2004. "I'm without excuse; I have no defense for what I did. I feel terrible."He has said, however, that sitting in front of the parole board feels pointless."Sometimes when I'm in there, I'm like, 'Why am I here?'" he reportedly said. "It's like they know that I know nothing's going to happen. But we sit there and make nice."

JORAN PART 2--NATALEE WAS ALLEGEDLY DRUGGED
Information provided by Scared Monkeys
Beth Twitty made an appearance on CBS, The Early Show, and made the following references as to whether her daughter, Natalee Holloway, may have been drugged.
Natalee Holloway’s mother says that the Alabama teen may have been drugged the night she disappeared in Aruba almost four months ago. Beth Holloway Twitty recounted the night that she confronted Joran Van der Sloot as to the where abouts of her daughter.
In the interview with “A Current Affair,” Van der Sloot admits he lied about the last time he saw Holloway on the night she vanished, but insists she was fine when they parted ways. “When her parents showed up at my door with her picture, I didn’t even know who Natalee Holloway was,” he said. “I didn’t even know her name.”
To that, Twitty told Storm, “There have been so many lies that have come out of Joran van der Sloot’s mouth that it’s so — sometimes I think the only facts we have are all of his lies. It’s just incredible that he is going to make a statement like that, that he does — did not even know her name.”
Because of the fact that Joran Van der Sloot has admitted to initially lying to the police in the investigation as to bring Natalee Holloway back to the Holiday Inn, one wonders just which story to believe. This and the fact that Joran Van der Sloot has presumably made statements that he had sex with Natalee Holloway and now is saying that he did not is puzzling. One does not usually use the term “consensual” unless they are referring to sex, not kissing.
“The ‘only’ mistake he made,” Twitty said. “You know, I am not even sure if we’ve gotten to the last disclosed location where Joran last left and saw Natalee. I’m not even certain that that is the last place.”
Beth further went on to reference the possibility that her daughter was drugged (some possibilities Rohypnol, GHB, or Ketamine to name a few) and not just intoxicated. One does begin to wonder as individuals have privately disclosed that “date rape” drugs act more in this manner that Beth and Dave have described than would alcohol where one just tends to pass out when reaching their limit.
“It almost sounds like to me that she is drugged. And in his statements, also, he’s saying that she’s coming in and out of consciousness. That just doesn’t sound like just drunk. It sounds like to me it’s a possibility she could have been drugged, also.”
JORAN: "I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HER NAME."
Taken from Scared Monkeys
“He admitted this to the interrogators,” she said. “He admitted this in front of 10 witnesses in the early morning hours of May 31st of the sexual assault that he committed against Natalee. So, yes, that is a fact.”
Beth Twitty states she has seen once again references the statements that Joran Van der Sloot made. Based on statements she said she saw Joran Van der Sloot admitted to the sex. “Drove to his home, wanted her to come in … had sex with her”.
Aruban officials have not released any of the statements to the public. Beth Twitty then goes on to repeat the statements down to the graphic and explicit details of Natalee’s undergarments as well as other graphic details that Beth does not get into.
Joran and co-suspects Deepak & Satish Kalpoe allegedly got Natalee drunk at the bar, took Natalee from the bar and then sexually assaulted her. Since such documents have never been released and by Dutch law they cannot until the entire investigation or trial is over.

This presents a puzzling problem of verification. If it is true that Joran made these comments and has such detail of Natalee it brings into question again the fact that he claims not to have sex with her whether it be consensual or not.
Beth Twitty is asked about the FBI and where that investigation stands at this point. The comments that Beth makes are startling.
“The FBI told me they never released the documents, the audio or video tapes evidence to them.” Beth Twitty then went on to discuss the DNA evidence that was taken from the Kalpoe’s car that has never yet in her words been reported. “They wanted the DNA because of the fluids they found in the car. They found fluids in the car in back seat of that gray Honda and on the roof.”
Beth claim that an Aruban government official made a statement that blood evidence was found and removed from the Kalpoe’s car. But to date no results have ever been made public.
Beth sadly adds, “If someone brought her out alive that would shock me at this point”. “There is no shock value anymore. “That country has dragged me through hell.” Beth said that Aruban officials put her and her family through episode after episode of torture, including late night emergency phone calls that Natalee was found safe; then Natalee’s body had been recovered. And all of it ultimately was untrue.
“She’s on the side of the road raped and murdered. She’s alive walking down the street with some crack head named Wendi.” We later learn the Beth Twitty will be going to Holland near where Joran Van der Sloot is going to school to put up missing person’s posters of her daughter, Natalee Holloway.

DAVE HOLLOWAY SAW THROUGH JORAN IMMEDIATELY
and "The Dave Abrams Show"
HOLLOWAY: Well as you recall, his (Joran's) earlier statements—police statements, he indicated that she was going in and out of consciousness and as you‘re progressively getting worse, I don‘t see how she could be able to be functioning at that point in time. I did have some new information that led me to believe that Deepak was the one who assisted her out of the Carlos N‘ Charlie‘s. And based on this statement I just got a feeling that alcohol was not the only drug administered.ABRAMS: And do you have any evidence of that or is that just your theory…
HOLLOWAY: No, that‘s just my theory.
ABRAMS: OK.
HOLLOWAY: Just based on this witness statement.
However, contrast that with the interview that Joran Van der Sloot gave on ‘A Current Affair’. Not only did Joran Van der Sloot seem to blame the entire event on Natalee Holloway in that she wanted to be with him and dance with him, but also blamed the Mountain Brook teenagers.
Joran at no point takes any responsibility nor answers the question how this could lead to a missing girl. What Arubans, Joran’s friends and one particular local Aruban bar should take notice of is Joran van der Sloot’s following comment from his ‘Current Affair” interview:
I don’t have really that many memories. I mean, I only knew her for one night. I feel stupid, I feel horrible that I went out that night without my father knowing. I should’ve just stayed home and this wouldn’t have happened to me. It would’ve happened to another person. I just try to look at it like I was at the wrong place at the wrong time, maybe even with the wrong people.” I just hope that everything… that the truth comes out, that this comes to clarity in this case.
Reporter: If you could do it over again, what would you do differently?
I would’ve just stayed home that night. It was Natalee who asked me to go out with her. It was her that asked me to go to the club. It was her that was yelling for me to go dance with her. And I went to go have a drink with my friends.
Joran claims that he just wanted to have a drink with his friends, those same people he refers to as “maybe even with the wrong people”. Hopefully the many good people of Aruba will realize that maybe its Joran van der Sloot that may not have Aruba’s best interest at heart and only his own.

ANOTHER DIVORCE? GO FIGURE???
By the way, I have no idea who these people are, because I don't watch the show, "One Tree Hill'. I've outgrown the teen shows.
However, I just wanted to reiterate AGAIN that marriages don't last!!!

Bush, 23, released a similar message to the press. "This is a difficult and unfortunate situation," Bush said. "I am glad this is being resolved sooner rather than later."
VAN DER SLUT SPEAKS OUT
“Neither Me, not Deepak or Satish ever had sex with her. And that's in all the documents. And none of us ever said anything like that.”
Joran Van der Sloot also went on to make the following statements:
When asked whether Joran had anything to say to Beth
Joran said the following:
See video and listen to Beth Twitty’s comments for Joran
CATHERINE CRIER INTERVIEWS TJ WARD AND DAVID WRIGHT ON NATALEE DISAPPEARANCE
JORAN'S QUOTE
Here is the following account of the Court TV interview:
CC: TJ, your thoughts about the interview?
TJ: Well, we still think that something happened to her, she passed out. Even according to Beth when she was on Dr. Phil the information from Joran that something happened, that she was in and out, in and out. We think something did happen to her and she apparently had a passed out had a heart attack, stopped breathing. We still believe that Paul Van der Sloot was called and he has a direct involvement with Natalee Holloway’s disappearance.
CC: You have insinuated, implied, talked about in conversation that you think Paul Van der Sloot had something to do with her disappearance. Possibly the removal of the body, even removing her from the island. What are your thoughts on that?
TJ: There is a possibility, things we are looking into. We just think right now that Paul Van der Sloot and some information that we are following right now that Paul Van der Sloot was directly involved with the disappearance and cover up of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance.
If you remember, that the story that was brought out on Dr. Phil, by Beth and the info she had from the police reports it always goes up to Joran being there, Deepak saying lets leave get rid of her. But there is never any final conclusion as to what happened to her after that and what caused her disappearance. Some of the information that we have is that Paul Van der Sloot said no body, no case. We have gathered information and are still receiving information and are following up on it. We are doing this pro bono, and as I told Beth when we got involved if she will trust us, we will find Natalee.
CC: From the info you have, do you think she is dead, buried on the island, buried at sea or taken off the island and moved to another country?
TJ: Some of this information we have, we are not going to expose right now. I can tell you that from the information we have, Paul Van der Sloot was directly involved with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.
CC: What are your thoughts right now as to the disposal of the body?
TJ: From all the information we have gathered, even when I was in
CC: Do the Aruban authorities have this information?
TJ: No, but if we find information that will lead us to where she is we will turn it over to the LE and the FBI.
CC: I understand you have been following Joran around Holland, what have you found out?
David Wright: National Enquirer
We have been keeping tabs on Joran for a couple of weeks in
CC: Do we think it is some irate individual that has been following the case? What kind of info do we have?
DW: There are people angry enough in Aruba and the
CC: Does this involve the Kalpoe brothers as well?
DW: No, I think this is centered on Joran.
CC: What kind of information on Joran, I understand he is going to school but having a good time as well?
DW: Yes, I think he is. Doesn’t seem to have changed his ways. He is hitting the bars sometimes till the early hours. He is cutting classes, and he is certainly chasing girls.
CC: He is living with his father, so what kind of schedule does he seem to be keeping? What is PVDS doing?
DV: His father brings him to school most mornings, sometimes he goes home on the train. They have spent a lot of time attending soccer matches around
They have been to
His father certainly doesn’t seem to be keeping a tight rein on him.
CC: What about the people in the town where he is living? Do they seem to know much about the story?
DV: No I don’t think they do.Certainly his classmates at school certainly know his history. He has made no attempt to hide it. I don’t think that anyone in the little town where he is living would have a clue about his background.
DV: He was caught by that TV team. He is a clever kid and I think he used it to his advantage and turned it into a calculated PR event on his part.
CC: You described trips to England and planning one to Macedonia. There don’t seem to be any restrictions on him anywhere in and out of the Netherlands?
A SERIOUS 'VEGAS LOSER'

Driver also wanted in connection of assault charges where he allegedly punched, choked to unconsciousness and held a butcher knife to his own mother
The driver of a stolen car who authorities say deliberately plowed into pedestrians on the Las Vegas Strip, killing two and injuring a dozen others, will face charges of murder and attempted murder.
Witnesses said the driver, Stephen M. Ressa, 27, of Rialto, California, ac
celerated as he drove along the crowded casino sidewalk, Deputy Police Chief Greg McCurdy said. One witness described it as "humans being mowed down like a lawnmower," McCurdy said. "It appears he did this intentionally."Ressa was arrested Wednesday at the chaotic scene that stretched for yards under the marquee of the Bally's hotel-casino. There was no record Thursday that Ressa had retained a lawyer.
The injured were strewn along the sidewalk and treated in the street by emergency workers as stunned tourists looked on. An off-duty Las Vegas police officer, Martin Wright, rushed from a nearby restaurant to help. "All I saw was bodies on the sidewalk and in the bushes," Wright said Thursday.
The victims, including 11 tourists, were walking in front of the Bally's and Paris hotel-casinos when the car struck them, then crashed into a wall and came to a stop in a landscaped area in front of Bally's.
Eight of the injured remained hospitalized Thursday, including two in serious condition, officials said. Gordon Kusayanagi, 52, of Hollister, California, died Wednesday; Mark Modaressi, 26, of Irvine, California, died Thursday.
Ressa also had been sought by his hometown police in a near-fatal assault Monday on his mother, who owned the car Ressa was driving in Las Vegas. He was held Thursday without bail at the county jail and could face a court appearance as early as Monday.
During interviews with detectives, Ressa appeared lucid and correctly answered questions about his ability to determine right and wrong, McCurdy said. But Ressa's statements were "bizarre in nature," McCurdy said.
Results of alcohol and drug tests were pending. Rialto police Det. Sgt. Reinhard Burkholder said Ressa was wanted for questioning in the assault on his 54-year-old mother. He had not been charged in that case. "He punched her numerous times in the face and choked her into unconsciousness and stood over her with a butcher knife," Burkholder said.
Ressa may have been under the influence of methamphetamine, Burkholder said. He was not being pursued by officers when he crashed in Las Vegas, police said.

ANOTHER MARRIAGE BITES THE DUST
Jamie-Lynn DiScala's camp has yet to confirm the split. The twosome began dating in 2001, after meeting at a basketball game. They wed in a lavish ceremony in July 2003, when the former Jamie-Lynn Sigler was 22 and DiScala was 32.
SINGER D'ANGELO IN CRITICAL CONDITION
Singer D'Angelo in Critical Condition After Being Ejected from SUV
RICHMOND, Va. - R&B crooner D'Angelo, who won over America with his '90s soul ballads was critically injured in a car wreck outside his hometown of Richmond.
D'Angelo, 31, born Michael Eugene Archer, was in a 2003 Hummer sport utility vehicle on Sept. 19, 2005, when it crossed the roadway and struck a fence, ejecting the singer. Apparently, D'Angelo wasn't wearing a seat belt. D'Angelo was initially listed in critical condition, but no further information is available.
Officials at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, where the Grammy-winning artist was flown after the wreck, said the family had asked that his condition not be released. Another person, Lynne Sellers, also was injured in the wreck. Police couldn't say which of the two had been driving. The accident occurred in Powhatan County, a bedroom community west of the city. D'Angelo lives in Midlothian, just outside Richmond. The cause of the crash is under investigation, Barrick said.

D'Angelo rode a wave of popularity that culminated with a Grammy in 2001 for best male R&B vocal performance for "Untitled (How Does It Feel)" from the album "Voodoo," which won a Grammy for best R&B album.
JORAN TALKS TO CURRENT AFFAIR
A suspect in the case of an Alabama teenager missing in Aruba admits he lied about the last time he saw her on the night she vanished, but he insists she was fine, according to a television interview. Joran van der Sloot, 18, was one of three men jailed this summer in Natalee Holloway’s May 30 disappearance. He talked to a producer for “A Current Affair” in Holland, where he is attending college. The interview is scheduled to air Monday. Holloway was last seen leaving a bar with van der Sloot and two brothers, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe. The three young men were released on the condition they remain available to police for questioning.
In the interview with A Current Affair Joran Van der Sloot claims the relationship was consensual and he went so far to say that he even told Natalee Holloway that they had to leave; however, “she wanted to stay all night”.
He insists the night ended when he left her alone on the beach. “She wanted to stay here the whole night. I told her no I had to go. I even lifted her up to carry her back to the hotel, and she told me to put her down,” he said in the interview.
So now the story is that Joran Van der Sloot being the gentleman that he is was insisting that they both leave and it was Natalee Holloway, a girl who cannot defend her self’s fault. Joran Van der Sloot also went on to say,
“Obviously she was drunk. I had stuff to drink, too,” van der Sloot said. “She wanted to go with me. I wanted to go with her. It was totally consensual.”
Also, you and the Kalpoe brothers have now admitted to all having sex with a girl that was drunk and that you claim to have been consensual, WHERE IS SHE THEN? You left a drunk girl on the beach after all you had conveniently enough consensual sex with a girl that was so drunk she probably could not have consented to anything.
Research has shown that individuals with APD are indifferent to the possibility of physical pain or many punishments, and; this may explain their apparent disregard show no indications that they experience fear when so threatened for the consequences of their actions, and their lack of empathy when others are suffering.
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, a widely used manual for diagnosing mental and behavioral disorders defines antisocial personality disorder as a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others occurring since age 15 years, as indicated by three (or more) of the following:
- failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrestdeceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases
- cconning others for personal profit or pleasure
- impulsivity or failure to plan ahead
- irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults
- reckless disregard for safety of self or others
- consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain steady work or honor financial obligations
- lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another
(NPD) is a personality disorder that is characterized by extreme feelings of self-importance, a high need for admiration, and a lack of empathy. Narcissistic personality disorder can be considered to be a pathological form of narcissism. It is estimated that 0.7-1% of the general population is afflicted with narcissistic personality disorder. Most people with narcissistic personality disorder (50-75%, according to the DSM) are men.
Narcissistic personality disorder is often diagnosed (comorbid) with other mental health disorders, especially substance abuse and impulsive and reckless behaviors.
People with narcissistic defenses are either cerebral (derive their narcissistic supply from their intelligence or academic achievements)— or somatic (derive their narcissistic supply from their physique, exercise, physical or sexual prowess and "conquests").
Factor 1: Aggressive narcissism
- Glibness/superficial charm
- Grandiose sense of self-worth
- Pathological lying
- Cunning/manipulative
- Lack of remorse or guilt
- Shallow affect
- Callous/lack of empathy
- Failure to accept responsibility for own actions
Dissocial Personality Disorder
(F60.2), usually coming to attention because of a gross disparity between behaviour and the prevailing social norms, and characterized by:
- callous unconcern for the feelings of others;
- gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard for social norms, rules and obligations;
- incapacity to maintain enduring relationships, though having no difficulty in establishing them;
- very low tolerance to frustration and a low threshold for discharge of aggression, including violence;
- incapacity to experience guilt or to profit from experience, particularly punishment;
- marked proneness to blame others, or to offer plausible rationalizations, for the behaviour that has brought the patient into conflict with society.

GENERATION GAP--CAN YOU RELATE?
- First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us.
- They took aspirin, diet pills, ate tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.
- Then after that trauma, our babycribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paints.
- We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking.
- As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags.
- Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat.
- We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.
- We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and no one actually died from this.
- We ate white bread and real butter and drank soda pop with sugar in it, but we weren't overweight because WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING!
- No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.
- We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 99 channels on cable, no CDs or DVDs, no surround sound, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or Internet chat rooms..........WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!
- We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.
- We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
- We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.
- We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!
- Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment.
- The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!
solvers and inventors ever!
HOW TO: DEAL WITH IT ALL!
