Famous for her role as "Carol" on the 80's sit-com "Growing Pains". She was arrested in September 2004 for being under the influence while driving and injuring her husband and two children. In March, 2005, she was put on three years' probation, given 30 days of county work release, ordered to perform 240 hours of community service and had her license suspended for a year. The judge meted out the punishment two months after a teary-eyed Gold pleaded guilty to her role in a scary auto accident.
Poor Chris...first he gets busted for drinking and driving, and then his fiancee, Katie Holmes dumps him and gets engaged to Tom Cruise two months later.
I wonder which sentence would be worse? Being engaged to Tom Cruise or jail time? I'd have to say jail time would be just fine with me.
Robert Iler, 20
Doesn't HBO pay you enough, kid? Known for his role on the Sopranos, he was arrested onManhattan's Upper East Side with two other teens on charges of second-degree robbery and marijuana possession.
Iler and his two friends were indicted for the robbery of $40 from two Brazilian youths.
She's a real "american pie", ain't she? This American Pie co-star and indie film princess Natasha Lyonne was caught in Florida for drunk driving. Her ex-drunk beau is featured below for his own troubles.
According to the Florence Police Department, the star and some pals were in a Meijer store getting rowdy and yanking lobsters out of the chain store's tank. When police arrived, Furlong, began to "turn around in circles" when an officer tried to frisk him.
Jackson registered a blood alcohol level of .14 (North Carolina's limit is .08) when tested at the Wake County Jail.

George Clinton, 64
George Clinton, known for his 70's funk band was arrested in December 2003 by Florida cops and charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He spent less than an hour in the Leon County Jail before coming up with the $2650 he needed to bond out.
Actor Brad Renfro was arrested by
Renfro, who was 18 at the time of his bust, pleaded out and was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay the yacht’s owner $4000 in damages.
Jason Patrick, 39
Patric's trouble began at 2:45 AM when he mocked a patrolman who sought to clear large crowd of pedestrians out of a roadway. Asked if he had a problem complying with the police directive, Patric "assumed an aggressive stance."
That, of course, is never a good idea when dealing with the fuzz. In short order, Patric tussled with the officer and fell to the ground with the cop (where he was eventually cuffed).

In addition, he was arrested again in Michigan in 2004 for drunk driving a golf cart on a golf course.
Matthew McConaughey, 35
Matthew McConaughey was arrested by Austin, Texas police in October 1999 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a neighbor called to complain about music blaring from the actor's crib.
When police arrived, they found McConaughey dancing around in the buff and playing bongo drums. The drug charges against McConaughey were eventually dropped, though the star did plead guilty to violating Austin's noise ordinance, for which he paid a $50 fine.

Houston police busted basketball star Scottie Pippen in April 1999 and charged him with drunk driving.
Cops pulled over the six-time NBA champ's Mercedes after seeing him use an oncoming lane to pass cars stopped at a red light. Pippen, who was playing for the Rockets at the time, failed a field sobriety test and refused to take a Breathalyzer.
Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp was arrested by Florida cops in July 2002 and charged with reckless driving after his SUV ran off the road before swerving back into the proper lane. The singer was busted when an Orange County Sheriff's deputy happened to be cruising nearby. Stapp was released from custody after posting $500 bond.
