TAYLOR BEHL UPDATE: Second Car Impounded

According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, a second vehicle has been impounded by police in the investigation of the disappearance of Taylor Behl. The car, a tan Nissan Altima, was recovered by police approximately two days ago. It is being examined by forensic teams for any trace of the 17-year-old Vienna resident who disappeared on Sept. 5 after leaving her VCU dorm room.

The police did not state where the second impounded vehicle was recovered from or to whom it was registered to. Police spokeswoman Kirsten Nelson said investigators are interested in the car because Behl is believed to have been in it sometime prior to her disappearance. She did not disclose where the car was recovered or to whom it is registered.

“Right now, it’s a very small piece of a very big puzzle,” said Nelson.
