This has got to be the quote of the day for the rich, white, greedy, heartless, selfish, 'don't-have-a-clue' people in this country who are obviously not living in the same world as the rest of us. I've never had anything bad to say about Laura Bush...but after reading this quote I almost choked on how blatantly fake and 'prepared' her statement is.
How pathetic. There are dead people covered in white sheets all over the city. Entire families have lost everything they have in the entire world, and this is the best she can come up with???

"Some things are working really well in Louisiana," Laura Bush told reporters inside an evacuee center, where she was visiting volunteers and displaced New Orleans residents. Bush said the 6,000 evacuees were having their needs met, and praised the Red Cross and other volunteers for tending to them. She also encouraged Americans everywhere to lend their time and resources to helping Katrina's victims.
