I was so suprised that I got a comment from one of Julie Popovich's friends, Tiffani. I don't want Julie's name, life or murder to die in vein. I am posting her comment and my response to her.
Please people...let's pay more attention to these serious situations!!!

Tiffani--
I am extremely sorry for your loss. I have never lost a friend before, so I can't imagine what you must be going through.
If you would, please send me pictures, stories about her as a person and a friend; any any new information you receive about her case since the media has chosen to ignore her and the 'investigation'. I will make sure I cover every angle that I have access to, I PROMISE THAT..
I am lucky I didn't end up like Julie, Natalee Holloway, or Taylor Behl, to name a few. I was a serious wild child in my very early high school and college years--that could have happened to me EASILY. It could happen to any one of us. Unfortunately, through the years I've become very cynical and don't trust many men...partly due to age and experience and I was also a victim of a sexual assault(s).
We have to stick together and educate women and others about the dangers of sexual predators who roam bars where they can take advantage of drunk college women. These are sociopaths who can blend into society with ease and confidence.
My sincere condolences to you, your friends and Julie's family--
Thanks for writing Tiffani--please keep me posted.

To Michelle, I just want to personally thank you for your concern about Julie Popovich, whom was a very dear friend of mine. I think that there is so much unknown about the wonderful woman that Julie was because of ignorant people over looking the fact that she did nothing that night that the typical 20 year old college student does, again thank you!
