ONE SICK PUPPY...

Mahatma Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."

I can't even explain in words how I feel about this kid, and what I'd like to do to him for what he did to this poor dog. I am not as peaceful as Gandhi was.

I hope the Judge and all those involved in this case realize that animal cruelty such as this is a precursor to becoming a violent criminal offender and takes that into consideration when he is sentenced.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — A 17-year-old charged with throwing a pit bull from a sixth-floor apartment window told police he did it because he was bored.

Police charged Charles M. Thomas of Rochester with aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony, and false impersonation, a misdemeanor.

City police said Thomas initially identified himself as someone else while being questioned. The incident occurred at his mother's residence in Syracuse.

Thomas told police he was angry at the dog because it had snapped at him a few days earlier. The dog, which died, belonged to a roommate.
