HUMAN TRAFFICKING--A REAL PROBLEM

The National MultiCultural Institute (NMCI) launched a new web portal -- http://www.humantraffickingsearch.net -- that provides more than 15,000 web entries of informational resources on issues related to human trafficking and modern-day slavery from around the world.

HumanTraffickingSearch.net and its "deep search" engine provide information on related topics including: Human Trafficking, Child Labor, Bonded Labor and Sex Slavery. The site offers information about more than 120 countries through a broad range of articles, research studies, congressional testimony, case studies, UNODC public service videos, a data map on child labor, and a daily news service.

"We hope this web portal will provide helpful, easily accessible, resources to agencies and organizations working to end human trafficking worldwide," stated Liz Salett, founder and president of NMCI.
