LATEST UPDATE ON THE DISAPPEARANCE OF LISA STEBIC

• A source close to the investigation stated that one round of testing on the materials seized from the Stebic home has been completed, but the lab needs additional samples. Police expect to have the results of that testing soon.

• The same source also stated that authorities intend to search a particular area of a local state park frequented by Craig Stebic, who often fishes there. (This is the same park that was recently searched by co-workers of Lisa Stebic’s after a psychic told them where Lisa might be. The psychic identified a specific area, and surprisingly, near that predicted area bones were found; however it was later determined that the bones were from a deer.)

• The police have subpoenaed access to news video shot by several TV stations covering the case, but would not comment on what they were looking for.

• It was also learned that Lisa Stebic went on a couple dates with a man in the weeks leading up to her disappearance. Police have questioned him multiple times and isn’t considered suspect because he has a solid alibi during the time Lisa vanished.

Despite the lack of leads, authorities say eventually a case will be made. Really? When? Besides “OJ”, there is no such thing as a “perfect murder”…the Plainfield police better step up a notch and be more creative in their investigation techniques because it IS possible to prosecute someone for murder without a body! How Craig Stebic has been able to avoid speaking to police? If the investigators have this “secret mounting evidence” wouldn’t that be enough to forcibly bring him in for questioning? After all, HE was the last to see Lisa.

1. They were going through a nasty divorce, yet still living together;
2. He sent his kids off to the store for candy right before her disappearance…leaving the two of them alone in the house. By the time the kids get home, Lisa has vanished;
3. Stebic did not call 911 to report his wife missing. A day or so after Lisa’s disappearance a neighbor inquired to Stebic where she was. Stebic stated he didn’t know and walked away nonchalantly. It was the concerned neighbor who alerted police;
4. Lisa Stebic once stated to a close friend that if anything ever happened to her, look for Craig. Did he have violent tendencies that the public doesn’t know about? Battered women (whether it is physical or psychological abuse) tend to lie, hide and NOT to tell people. It’s called the “circle of abuse” in which the victims believe things will change;
5. Craig Stebic is known to own many guns and has been previously arrested on various weapons charges;
6. Cadaver dogs made a positive “hit” inside the Stebic home;
7. Trace amounts of blood were found on a tarp in Craig Stebic’s truck. He claimed it was either deer or rabbit blood. However, it was later determined to be Lisa’s blood through DNA analysis.
   

The police obtained enough probable cause for a search warrant of the home, yet they can’t bring him in for questioning?

Anyone know of an Illinois criminal lawyer I can interview? I may just call one because this absurdity is driving me crazy and these questions are never asked in the main stream media!

AL SHARPTON'S SELF SERVING AGENDA

Mr. Sharpton? Did you have a change of heart? Feel guilty? Did your PR person suggest you take on this topic? The reason why I’m so perplexed by your sudden interest in missing black women is because to my knowledge, you’ve never been interested before.


In fact, the only time you cared about a missing black girl was in 1987. Tawana Brawley, a black 15-year old girl falsely accused 6 white men of raping her. A couple of the accused men were white police officers. Even though the evidence didn’t add up and her story was blatantly false (it was later learned that her entire story was a hoax) you continued your crusade against the innocent men because they were white. You even had the audacity to state, “When people around the country know that I stood up for a young lady ... I think it will help me."

Help you with what? Your agenda?

So when I heard that at Sharpton’s weekly rally at his National Action Network headquarters he unexpectedly addressed Stepha Henry I was thinking “WTF”?


For a long time there have been bloggers that have made a huge stink about how Stepha Henry and other missing black women are not covered in the media. (Including myself) There is a new term for it…”Missing White Women Syndrome”. Now isn’t it ironic how YOU were the one taking up precious news time to discuss your outrage over Paris Hilton when Stepha Henry was already missing and was a big topic of discussion on blogs? I bet you never heard of Stepha until someone came to you about it.


In fact, an evening that you were on television blasting Paris Hilton, the Miami-Dade police spokesperson was cut from Nancy Grace’s show because of the Hilton coverage…which you exacerbated! Were you the reason why Stepha was cut from that show?

Hypocrite of the Year

Here’s a quote that can make you laugh or puke: "What is more shameful to me is Miss Henry's name and Miss Nixon's names are not household names of outrage in our communities." And why is that? Sharpton certainly has never addressed this “outrage” before. Sharpton is known for allegations of police brutality and playing the “race card”. He’s never been interested in women’s issues before. So why the change of heart?


Sharpton and Stepha Henry's pastor, Larry Camp said publicizing the case would draw more national media attention. Larry Camp stated, "When the national media can cover the embellished stupidity of Paris Hilton with no problems and not be able to cover the disappearance of a 22-year-old woman.”


Mr. Henry, did you know that Sharpton was one of the many that fueled that fire? He is one of the many that clogged the media with his Paris Hilton outbursts, the “unfairness” and race related allegations. Now Sharpton is backtracking saying the media must publicize these missing women?! Mr. Henry, this man dissed your daughter for Paris Hilton and now you trust him for help? There has got to be another black leader with more credibility who doesn’t have his own agenda at heart.




I believe Sharpton must live by the rule, “Tell the people what they want to hear.” He’d make a great politician wouldn’t he?

STEPHA HENRY--A NEW WITNESS?

A new witness has come forward in the case of Stepha Henry. The man, who has asked that his identity be kept a secret, said he saw Henry leave the nightclub where she was at in Sunrise, Fla. with a group of people.

The witness stated, "It was three kids with dreds, two females and herself that got into the car and they took off and left,"

According to investigators, Stepha Henry and her friend went to a club where the two were captured in a promotions company video that authorities are now using as evidence in the case. In the video, Henry is seen interacting with other people in the club who detectives are now interviewing. As for the man Henry was with, witnesses say at the end of the evening, he left without Henry and the car.

Here is my question: Who would borrow a car and NOT know whose car it is? What did he do with the keys? How did he get home? Who did he go home with? This “friend’s” account sounds very fishy and I hope they do more investigation on this person.

Linda O’Brien of the Miami-Dade police department said, "The car (the black four-door Acura Integra) is still missing. He tells us that he borrowed the car. So we're still trying to check the origin of the car, find out where it originally came from, who originally had the car, where the car is registered …"

AN OPEN LETTER TO AL SHARPTON

Where are your priorities Mr. Sharpton? You claim to be a leader in the black community, yet I do not see you standing behind any black Americans at the moment.


At the moment you are wasting valuable time and energy with your "public outrage" over Paris Hilton's jail time. You go on all sorts of networks keeping the trash and the undeserving in the spotlight with your outcries and B.S. while your own black sisters are missing and dead. Why aren't you there for them?

PHYLICIA MOORE--KEEPING HER "ALIVE" ON THE INTERNET

With no mainstream media headlines, yet gaining strength on the internet is the horrifying story of an 18-year old New Jersey girl named Phylicia Moore. You won't see her story on Greta van Susteren, Nancy Grace, or the myriad of other mass media pundits on the cable news.

Why?

Some say it's because Phylicia was a black girl and deemed not "newsworthy". The infamous term "Missing White Woman Syndrome" keeping popping up as debate. Some say it's because she isn't missing person and therefore the case is not active. Some with no heart at all say it is just irrelevant to the news and to them.

FACE IT. IT IS NEWS.

A beautiful young woman with a with promising future was stymied in the prime of her life while doing good deeds. Her mother, Lola Moore said, "She was stolen from us. That's the way we feel, like she was stolen from us."


I don't see this story in color. I see the story as a probable murder and an immediate and incompetent police investigation. I see the story as a family torn apart as their daughter graduates and heads to Ghana on a goodwill tour with her school to help children with AIDS yet never to return. I see the story as a mystery as Phylicia leaves the pool area of her hotel at 10:30 p.m., apparently heading for her room only to be found 11 hours later face down in the pool with her clothes on, her swimsuit underneath and no shoes. Did she ever make it to her room?


The Moore family has so many questions that have not been answered. The Ghanaian officials never formally interviewed her fellow students or chaperones before the group continued on with their tour. Moore's father stated, "I feel it's important that in order to solve this, everybody should be interviewed, not just a few people...that goes for the people connected to the hotel, any visitors, all the students and chaperones. Then they will most likely get a handle on what happened to my daughter. But to just let it go for a month like this, that's no good."

Let's remember its been almost TWO MONTHS now.

The Police found no evidence of foul play; however, the medical examiners never completed a toxicology test. The Moore family had an independent autopsy done in the United States which found that Phylicia was not in the water for very long before she was found. Evidently there are two different scenarios and stories going on...and they don't jive.

Bring in the FBI!

But wait! Under international law, the FBI can't formally get involved until it receives an "ok" from the Ghanaian government.The family and the FBI never got that "ok" until NOW. With the help of New Jersey Representative Steve Rothman, the U.S. ambassador to Ghana told the Moore family that an FBI legal attache assigned to Lagos, Nigeria will travel to Ghana this week to work with the task force formed by the Ghanaian government to solve this mystery.


Is ANYONE safe traveling outside the United States anymore? Will the Moore family receive the answers they deserve or will they be tossed aside like other Americans murdered abroad?


Only time will tell...Is Phylicia Moore's death important? Maybe not to some, but A LOT to many, many others. She deserves justice so her family can be at peace and so she may REST IN PEACE.

JOE FRANCIS: A DOUCHEBAG SAYS WHAT?

Poor Joe...He's crying a river in a Reno cell right now threatening suicide...but Nevada and Florida want him bad. On top of his current mess, he has been sued again for the coercion of underage girls performing sexual acts and filming it without their consent. Little did the girls know they would actually be featured in the Spring Break GGW video! With his tax evasion charges, and alleged sexual acts against many females, he's looking at 40 years if convicted!


I HATE Joe Francis. If you don't know who Joe Francis is, he is the infamous creator of the cheesy low-budget videos, "Girls Gone Wild". He is only 34, yet is the epitome of a true misogynist and a pimp to boot. He makes money off inebriated women whom he encourages to flash their breasts, privates and perform sexual acts on camera.


One could argue that it is the woman's fault for their own actions, but the difference is that he and his employees PREY on girls during spring break and other areas where women are on vacation and are under the influence of intoxicants. In fact, some of them have been MINORS. He is a sick bastard and I hope he ROTS IN HELL when he meets his maker.


I am embarrassed and ashamed for his mother. What kind of parents would raise their son to believe it is morally acceptable to capitalize on this kind of "business"? It's wrong and it's disgusting.


At least strippers and porn stars get PAID. The only person who gets paid is JOE FRANCIS.

WHY DO I HATE JOE FRANCIS? 

JUST A FEW EXAMPLES:

In an August 6, 2006 issue of West (the Sunday magazine of the Los Angeles Times), an article by Claire Hoffman was written about Francis as she travelled with him across the country. In it, Hoffman bore witness to Francis' numerous alleged illegal activities, including habitual supply of alcohol to underage girls.


Hoffman reported Francis' alleged rape of an 18 year old virgin, Jannel Szyszka. Quoting Szyska, who was under the legal drinking age in the USA and had allegedly been supplied by alcohol by Francis and her entourage, Hoffman wrote, "Eventually, Szyszka says, Francis told the cameraman to leave and pushed her back on the bed, undid his jeans and climbed on top of her.


"I told him it hurt, and he kept doing it. And I keep telling him it hurts. I said, 'No' twice in the beginning, and during I started saying, 'Oh, my god, it hurts.' I kept telling him it hurt, but he kept going, and he said he was sorry but kissed me so I wouldn't keep talking." ... Then, she says, he opened the door and told the cameraman to come back, saying, "She's not a virgin anymore."...She says she's haunted by that night".


After the report was published, Francis denied that he engaged in sexual intercourse with Szyszka, while his lawyer claimed that intercourse had occurred consensually. Hoffman also reported that she herself was assaulted and "humiliated" physically by Francis in front of his cheering entourage, stating that "the pressure he applied was so intense that hours later, my arms were covered in red hand marks".

MORE REASONS TO HATE JOE FRANCIS:

Francis has been criticized by social commentators and third wave feminists such as Ariel Levy for perpetuating "the new double standard" which equates the objectification of women with sexual liberation.


Francis' rap sheet include allegations of rape, sexual assault and conspiracy to use minors in sexual performances. The recurring allegations include that women engaged in sexual activity were covertly filmed without their consent, and that Mantra films (his company) engaged in sexual exploitation of minors.


1. In an incident at Panama City Beach, Florida, during spring break 2003, Francis was arrested and initially charged with 71 separate counts which included racketeering, drug trafficking, and child pornography.


2. In March 2004, a Texas college student accused Francis of raping her in his Miami hotel room. She told police that after she met Francis in a bar in South Beach, Florida, where they argued over the morality of "Girls Gone Wild" videos, she went to his room at the Ritz-Carlton for a drink and awoke the next morning in bed next to him with no memory of the previous evening after Francis had offered her a drink. Again, Francis reported that he had consensual sex with the woman.


3. In 2000, the property manager of Francis' Santa Monica apartment, Stephanie Van de Motter, obtained a restraining order requiring that he stay at least 100 yards away from her. She said that Francis, upset about the noise garbage collectors made in the mornings, had harassed and threatened her twice by climbing up to her bedroom window and pounding violently on the glass while screaming obscenities at her. He also appeared in her office several times asking for her by using the "c-word" and left messages with her co-worker saying, "Tell the bitch this is war."


4. In 2003, Darian Mathias-Patterson, who scouted locations and arranged for the rental of a space for a Halloween party Francis threw, filed a police report that he threatened to kill her when she told him she couldn't return his $25,000 deposit because the 2,000 guests had trashed the place. She told police he said, "I'm going to fucking get you, you fucking whore" and repeatedly used the "c-word". Two weeks later, Mathias-Patterson, who was pregnant, miscarried. She later sued Francis and his company in Los Angeles County Superior Court for emotional distress, and the case was settled for an undisclosed amount.


5. In 2002, Becky Lynn Gritzke discovered that she had been covertly filmed flashing her breasts at a Mardi Gras festival and that the image had been used without her permission on billboards advertising Girls' Gone Wild videos and even on the cover of a GGW video.

CRAIG STEBIC'S LOVE OF GUNS

Craig Stebic--A Crazed Gun Toting Psycho?

On October 8, 1995 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Michigan Conservation Officer, Mike Holmes had a frightening confrontation involving Craig Stebic and his father, Joe.The Stebics were being investigated for some time for poaching animals. Information from confidential informants said the Stebics were poaching the animals and taking the meat back to Illinois to sell.

That day Craig and his father were pulled over for the poaching investigation. Craig crouched down in the back of the truck with a 12 gauge shotgun. This was one of the few times in Officer Holmes’ 25+ years of working in law enforcement when he felt he had to pull his weapon.


“Craig was in the back and he had a shotgun,” Holmes said. “He wanted to do something but I drew my gun before he got out of the back of the pickup…you can see he was trying to figure out what to do but the look on his face told me it wasn't good,” Holmes said. “They were real defiant.”


According to the police report, fresh blood was found in the truck but no animals were spotted. Officials also never found any of the animals the Stebics were believed to have poached. However, investigators believe they could be stashed among the hundreds of mining pits that that cover the 1,100 miles of Iron County, Michigan.


“I think every police officer has individuals that they make contact with in their career that basically makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck, and whether it's the look or the cold stare or whatever that's what I had for Craig.” Holmes said.

No Shock Factor

Holmes said that when he heard about Lisa going missing and the possible evidence pointing to Craig he wasn't shocked. “It didn't surprise me…Let's say that. I wasn't surprised.”

Arrest Record

Craig Stebic was arrested two other times in Iron County, Michigan. In November 2004, he pleaded guilty and paid a $189 fine for using another person’s kill to tag a big game animal. In 1996 he paid an $80 fine for being caught with two undersized bass.

Recent Iron County Searches

Recently law enforcement investigators were in Michigan's Upper Peninsula searching more than 150 acres of Iron County land that have been in the Stebic family for generations. They searched Craig’s cousin, Michelle Stebic's farm where Craig carved his name into a cabin nearly 30 years ago. They also searched Craig's father’s cottage in nearby Alpha, and turned up nothing.


There are some people who think he might have loved her so much that he might have killed her. “Human nature says yeah…You love somebody that much.” Michelle Stebic also stated, “…in the heat of the moment, anything can happen.” But then she quickly contradicts herself by stating, “I don't believe he would... actually kill her."


Craig’s father, Joe Stebic denounced the 1995 police report. He claims the version was a lie.
