Where are your priorities Mr. Sharpton? You claim to be a leader in the black community, yet I do not see you standing behind any black Americans at the moment.
At the moment you are wasting valuable time and energy with your "public outrage" over Paris Hilton's jail time. You go on all sorts of networks keeping the trash and the undeserving in the spotlight with your outcries and B.S. while your own black sisters are missing and dead. Why aren't you there for them?

Are you being paid by some higher unknown to spew your hatred and propaganda? Who cares about Paris Hilton? You are always pointing the finger at white people when they commit crimes and you are the first to jump on the bandwagon to persecute someone for something they said out of bad taste just to get on your soapbox and promote your own agenda (Don Imus...nappy headed hoe...cough...cough). Yet you leave your own out in the cold by carrying on about irrelevant people and things.

Thank you Michelle! I truly feared my words would be misinterpreted....I am the farthest thing from a racist, but, dared to write what might appear to some, that I was.
My point was to get some African-American Clout Backing, for theses poor young victims. Who better, than the biggest, loudest voice, albeit not the bightest, in the Black community...... I certainly would prefer the more rational realist, Bill Cosby!!
Mr. Sharpton, has done NOTHING productive for the Black Community! His devisive agenda is ever-present and he will only be seen "causing" trouble not solving problems!
So unfortunately, for his race, his only agenda is to provoke racial tension and scream on his "Bandwagon" on trivia. He wastes his time ranting and raving his outrage concerning the likes of Paris and Imus, he has no time (or interest) in using his voice to extend himself to real victims of his race.
As a parent, as a teacher, as any person, who has a dedication to "making a difference", the First and Most important lesson you learn is to "Choose Your Battles Wisely". Get out and fight for what is MOST important to best help people.
Who has Mr. Sharpton EVER helped? Where does he expend all his energy?
I think that person would be Al Sharpton. That is the only person he's helped.

It is important to remember that one of the reasons that people like Sharpton are able to in the position they are in because certain GROUPS of African Americans have been suckered into believing that they are victims and that people like Sharpton are their ticket to freedom so to speak. In a sense the belief is that people like Sharpton can give a voice to people who believe they don't have a voice.
Certain African American communities don't see themselves as victims so for them Sharpton doesn't have any bearing in their lives. The reality is that Sharpton is a semi-politician and there is a lot of money involved in someone propping themselves up as a leader for a group of people who never voted them as their leader.
Be that as it may, Sharpton, while well aware of Steph Henry, a young woman from HIS CITY, was missing in Florida, yet he chose to go to every source of media he could find, to vent his outrage, NOT in regards to Miss Henry, no, no. no, to Paris Hilton getting an early release from jail!!!
Considering Sharpton is from NYC and Stepha Henry is too, it is far more likely that she and her friends and family members consider themselves constituents of "The Reverand" than the stripper from North Carolina who made the false allegations against the Duke Lacrosse players, yet Big Al hightailed his big mouth to participate in that "circus"!!
I am quite sure, being a well-educated young woman and living in NYC, Miss Henry was very familiar with who the notorious Mr. Sharpton was, while I'll bet dollars to donuts, " Lying Stripper Lady" didn't have a clue as to who the fat, mustashoed guy with the big mouth, who was coming to her aid, was!
