Police charged four people with luring a man into a car and driving him to a lake, where they beat and stabbed him.
A 36-year-old man was at Peoples Park on Saturday with the four suspects, all from Bloomington. They then took him to Griffy Lake, where they beat him because he had made comments about a friend who died two years ago, Bloomington police said. The man also was stabbed twice in the back and left at the lake.
He was able to call police from the boathouse and remained in a Bloomington hospital Monday, police said. Amy D. Boyce, 29, faces a preliminary charge of attempted murder. Brandon S. Sloan, 18, was charged with battery causing serious bodily injury. Katharine L. Lewis and Jessica N. Stanger, both 20, face preliminary charges of conspiracy to commit battery causing serious bodily injury. Lewis also was charged with assisting a criminal.
Police were able to identify the four after talking with witnesses at Peoples Park. They said the suspects were at Bloomington Hospital for injuries they suffered during a fight. When officers arrived at the hospital, Boyce and Sloan were being treated for minor injuries to their hands.

Why did the driver admit to giving the drugs when she wrote me the letter apologizing for what she did. That very same letter that I gave to the judge.
And there was proof in my blood system about drugs that was given to me in my drink. And if you don't know the whole entire story and you was not there you was not involved.
Also I didn't want to go to the lake after I Katie had two guys put me in Katie's truck. Katie wouldn't let me out she let me out. Katie had also been involved in another incident involving a fight in Martinsville case was still pending at the time. Katie should had been changed with alot more than what she got.
I don't start rumors I only speak the truth. And I did admit to what I did wrong. I stabbed a man because he had been raping me and tried to kill me off and on for 6 months. The driver did not write a later to no one on anything that happend. Amy needs to stop trying to make everyone think she didn't do anything she knows what she did. Amy knows she is making it all up. The driver never sent a letter to no one. And no one gave a judge a letter from The driver. The judge and everyone said the driver was honest and told nothing but the truth. The driver was honest it was proven that amy was making it call up. Her story didn't mach the driver and the 2 other people's story's the judge new any was making it all up trying to get out of what she did. They all know she lied about everything. Amy is not only a convicted felon for this stabbing she is also a pedophile! She touched a 12 year old girl. The only reason she didn't get charged was because it was on top of the child's clothing. If I ever lay eyes on her I'll beat her within an inch of her life! Hence my reason for not going to Bloomington. The world owes you nothing! Untill you was involved and was there nobody has any right to judge anyone. And what do I have to lie about? I stated there when I was being interrogated on why I did what I did and I was under oath on why I did what I did. I have never lied about anything in my entire life. And if you truly know me then you would know that. The situation involving this case is far from a fabricated story. and I believe I still have that letter from Katie Louis that she wrote me well we were in jail. Katie Lewis also helped someone else up in Martinsville Indiana on scalping some girl. She was the driver involving that case. See a pattern here with Katie Lewis? Katie was also the spy for a friend's ex-husband who the woman was trying to get away from because of his physical abuse. She was fascinated with the man for some odd reason.
You're correct she was about 18 or 19 years old. But she also paid for part of that alcohol. Well the money that she got from Mommy and Daddy. She lied to her parents said that she needed gas money and fast food money.
And honestly if I was put in the situation again where I had to either die at a man raping me or protect myself I would do it again. any woman in the right mind would actually protect themselves on being raped or any kind of situation like that.
If anybody wants to know the truth about that night I can point you in the right direction I know the driver I have for several years Amy is a pathological liar the driver had to go through hair samples such as hair being pulled out of her head blood samples fingerprints and a lie detector test the lie detector test came back saying the driver was telling the truth the lie detector test on Amy came back saying she was mine she fabricated the whole situation she tried playing the victim it was proven she was not the victim nobody gave her alcohol nobody gave her drugs it was all on her own free will she tried to blame everything on everybody else she knows in her heart in the back of her mind she did wrong and I hope one day she comes clean and she admits what she did is she worried about telling people what she did I think so because she doesn't want to lose her friends she doesn't want to lose popularity she thinks she has but I think she needs to come clean and tell what she did learn from her mistake and move on maybe she needs to go somewhere where nobody ever knows her and start her life over if that's what it takes for her to let go and be honest with herself on what she did that night then go start your life over the first tell everybody what you did that night I was all your fault then go and do whatever the hell you want to do the first it always starts with being honest and telling what you did because what you did that night was horribly wrong it was sick nobody should ever go through that all I can say is the driver did 190 days in jail almost a year on house arrest and probation that's it Amy went to prison think about it guys why did Amy get a harder than anybody else there were several people that ride at a Meowth and they did it all Anonymous Lee one of the guys didn't get busted cuz he didn't get write it out on but he saw everything Amy did that night and he's the one that called the police station and gave an anonymous tip on what he saw that night it was all a me so before believing a me think really long and hard why did Amy get a harder than anybody else think about it and then ask yourself do you really want to start believing Amy or do you want to believe people that are telling the truth I hope that you all see right through Amy's lies and I hope you call her out on it I hope Amy starts to realize she is an ugly liar and she needs to stop f****** with people's lives you don't get
