WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO???

I think it's a very sad time in society when we have to wean our children off pornography

Workshop Tries To Help Kids Hooked On Porn

DALLAS (Wireless Flash) – Kids have always been hooked on candy and soda, but nowadays they’re also hooked on porn. At least, that’s the belief of Texas resident Brandon Cotter, who has launched a new service on his website, pureonline.com, to help kids get over their pornography addiction.

Cotter says the anti-porn program for kids, believed to be one of – if, not the only – in the world, will work like any addiction program: First, the kids will try to understand their problem. Then, they will learn how to deal with it.

Although the workshops target high school and college-aged kids, Cotter says he wouldn’t be surprised to see many 9, 10, and 11-year-olds signing up for the program.

In his words, “A lot of pastors and parents have told me kids of these ages are having just as big of problem as the older kids.”

Despite the embarrassment of fessing up to their problem, he expects “thousands and thousands” of kiddie porno perusers around the world to eye the curriculum.

How are these children getting the porn? College kids..okay...we all did a lot of stupid things in college. Addictions seem to be a normal part of college life. But teenagers or younger? I have three nieces that are 7, 9 and 10, I can't imagine my sister or her husband ever allowing their kids to be exposed to porn. Sometimes parents can't help what influences other children may have on their children but that is why they need to communicate with them and know what they are up to. I don't care if they hate you for it. I hated my parents when I was in High School but looking back I think that means that they were doing their jobs.
