A Spartanburg County school resource officer is feeling some heat after he misplaced his loaded gun. Investigators say the officer placed his gunbelt on top of his patrol car as he was leaving the Campobello elementary school Tuesday. He then drove off, forgetting it. Someone later found the gun and turned it in and no one was hurt. According to the sheriff's department, the officer has been re-assigned and will have to take remedial training classes.
