MOLLY DATTILO--2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF DISAPPEARANCE

WHERE IS MOLLY???

Two years have passed since 23 year-old Molly Dattilo went missing. She was in Indianapolis in the summer of 2004 taking classes at IUPUI and staying with her brother.

On July 6th, 2004, Molly disappeared and has not been heard from since. The day she disappeared, she bought supplies for her hobbies and school that were found in her car after her disappearance. On that she dropped one of her three university classes; this
was the last day to drop a class without a penalty. Just before her disappearance, she picked up a job application from Wendy’s Restaurant. Her car, her identification, her ATM card, and her cell phone were all left at her apartment. Her clothes were also left behind and there is no evidence that she packed a bag.

Molly was planning to begin her fifth year at Eastern Kentucky University and was just finishing a four year running scholarship. The weekend before she disappeared she commented that she was preparing for an upcoming singing competition in August, and had planned to attend her nephew's birthday party in July. She faithfully attended her university classes and private voice lessons until Tuesday, July 6, 2004, and never returned.

Molly is a talented achiever who excels in academics, athletics, and music. At the universities in which she attended, she received mostly A’s, even in the most challenging of classes. She excelled at running and while in high school she placed in the top eleven in cross country and the top seven in track three years in a row at the state level. During her senior year, she competed in an All-State competition where she placed fifth in the mile run. Additionally, Molly was also a talented singer and would often sing the National Anthem at the high school athletic games.
