Catherine Gregerson has staunchly and publicly defended her husband against charges that he smothered 5-year-old neighbor Destiny Norton last month then hid her body in his basement for eight days while an intense search swirled around their neighborhood. But her emotional postings on MySpace tell another story.
Authorities have received two attempted suicide calls regarding Catherine Gregerson over the past week, said Salt Lake City police Detective Joseph Cyr. Both pertained to messages she had posted at MySpace. The most recent 911 call came in at 12:53 a.m. Monday. "Her mother called to say she had read some suicide note from her daughter posted on the Internet," Cyr said.
The Salt Lake City Fire Department and a police officer went to Gregerson's home at 12:58 a.m., but "the patient refused care and we left the scene," said an unidentified fire department dispatcher. Online, Gregerson lists herself as a 22-year-old single woman and declares: "My life just gets worse and worse when will it go good again!!!!"
Gregerson's two-year marriage has been a spectacle in grief and anger as the pair engaged in screaming matches, physical abuse and torment, according to court documents and neighbor Troy Cox, who witnessed the volatile behavi

In February, Craig Gregerson filed a restraining order petition against his wife, claiming that she beat him and threatened to kill him. The order was never granted by a judge and Catherine Gregerson moved out of their home, taking the couple's 1-year-old daughter Lilly with her.
The Internet has become a forum for Gregerson to voice her anguish and receive comfort from others. Her last public posting was June 28, three weeks before Destiny disappeared from her yard in front of the Gregerson home. She titled her missive "The Pain and the hurt" and described her mood as depressed, next to an icon of a frowning cat. Gregerson wrote:

The Man I love is in love with yet another women My heart sits here in Broken Pieaces and shattered on the ground. I love him so much and would Do anything for him yet hes in love with another. Lord why does nothing go good for me My life has been shooting downhill Alot since he started Talking to her he hasnt even met her and He is in Love with her. Should I kick him to the Crub or should I belive what he says to me? He says he loves me and hes not in love with her, He tells me it will all be over soon and I will soon be his again if I just try harder. We made a deal I told him I would start behaving if he started treating me with respect I have yet to see this happened.
