(CBS) Plainfield, Ill. There's a new lead in the disappearance of Lisa Stebic; it comes as friends and families mark the missing woman's birthday.
An unnamed police source saying police found a tarp in Craig Stebic's truck which has tested positive for his wife Lisa Stebic's blood. The Will County State Attorney's Office will neither confirm nor deny that, saying the warrant is under seal.
It's information the missing woman's side of the family was surprised to hear.
A tarp investigators confiscated from Stebic's home as evidence has tested positive for Lisa Stebic's blood and that evidence sparked a judge to approve a search warrant on the home executed Monday.
"It's extremely painful and difficult," said Mark Greenberg, Lisa Stebic's cousin. We've been contacting and discussing what's been going on with police. We've asked them to tell as much as they can to us without jeopardizing the investigation. This is news to us."

I think this is another Scott and Lacy Peterson case. The husband is hiding something and their has to be more evidence in the home or his truck. CSI needs to do a complete head to toe with the home and all vehicles involved. Why is he not taking a lie detector test?? Most of the time they are thrown out of court, but still lets see what he knows. Filing for full custody of the children after the fact shows he had to get her out of his way to still have his children. If those accusations are true most verbal abusers do the next step to get out of divorce and not losing their children. I feel the law enforcement should do more investigating. What they do know can not be released due to their privacy policies and putting their job in jeopredy.
